How likely are you to recommend Dr. Esfandiari?
Dr. Esfandiari is a phenomenal doctor. She was my OB for my first pregnancy and if God willing I have another she will be for my second. As a Black woman, I am aware of the increased mortality rate and genetic dispositions I carry that put my pregnancy at risk of complications and it meant the world to me that she understood and validated my concerns. I had extreme nausea my first trimester and 4 days before my due date had pre-eclampsia. My BP had always been very good but when my BP was normal but protein was found in my urine she called me back in to check on me because she said “something didn’t feel right and kept thinking about me.” This led to a next day appointment and new blood pressure reading that led to an emergency C-section and healthy baby girl. She is an amazing doctor and I will never forget her. She listens, is friendly and personable, knowledgeable, responsive, caring and compassionate. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
