I found Dr. Handratta through online searching for a better psychiatrist after I felt that my previous psychiatrist was a bit too cold and at times even slightly adversarial. Dr. Handratta immediately made me feel welcome, listened to, and considered me a partner in my care rather than just along for the ride with whatever he dictates. He is extremely knowledgeable as to new and otherwise novel medications, pharmacogenetics, and other things that rarely are seen in psychiatrists I have been to. I feel that my ADHD has improved since seeing him as well as my PTSD symptoms I occasionally experience.
