We have been going to Dr. Moon for almost 6 years now for my three kids. I cannot imagine going anywhere else and I’m so thankful she sees kids until they are 21! Her bedside manner is superb and you can tell that she genuinely cares for her patients AND their parents. She has always worked collaboratively with me when it comes to decisions regarding my kids’ health and I know that if I have questions, no matter how big or small, she will answer them right away. My kids LOVE her and I highly recommend her!

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr. Tara Moon was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree from Howard University where she graduated magna cum laude. After graduation, she chose to continue at the Howard University College of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree. Following medical school, she completed her residency training in general pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta before relocating to the Lake Norman Area in North Carolina. Dr. Moon has a particular interest in infant care, asthma/eczema, and adolescent medicine. When she is not at work, she enjoys baking, traveling, running local 5K/10K races, and trying new restaurants. She also loves connecting with her closest friends at her church Elevation Lake Norman Campus.
