First meeting we just talked for well over an hour. She wanted to understand my health history and my parents health issues. She got to know me-a whole person and not just body parts. I found this comforting and established a bond between us and when I was later hospitalized I felt she was staying up to date on all of my tests. She explained things well and was patient. She established a team of specialists for me, which my previous PCP never did, though it was needed.
