Dr. Basham saved my life. I had experienced a car accident years before but lack of insurance wouldn't pay for any x-rays, tests etc. My Dr. refused to set them up for me and kept insisting I take asperin and the like. I kept begging him for help, he refused. In so much pain, I finally, took 70 some Valium (which he WOULD give me). It wasn't 'a cry for help' , It was 'good bye'. Somehow, I survived, 5 days in Intensive Care. I was sent to SB Rehab - into Dr. Bashams' care. Thank you God. She sent me to Pacific Pain Physicians for treatments for my injuries, and made sure I had enough pain medicine to survive the treatments. We swore an agreement; If she gave me the medicine I needed, I would NEVER abuse them. I never have. It is now 13 years later, I have a new life, and a new Doctor who actually cares about me and my future! NEVER GIVE UP!!!
