I had been self treating a chronic sinus condition for decades with little success, using OTC drugs and nasal sprays. My symptom was a severe nasal obstruction but thankfully very few headaches/sinus pressure. My CPAP made it possible for me to breathe through the night. Dr. Gallivan started my sinus treatment with topicals, but he also did a CT scan of my sinuses which revealed that all of my sinuses were almost completed closed. He said it was one of the worst cases he'd seen. He performed surgery on my sinuses to remove polyps. Dr. Gallivan said he didn't perform an aggressive surgery (a follow-up CT scan showed I still had quite a lot of blockage), and that he would continue treating me with topicals. A year later, he performed a more aggressive surgery, including fixing my deviated septum. I can now breathe freely through both nostrils 24 ho, even in the allergy season. I also no longer get bouts of pneumonia (I have bronchiectasis). Dr. Gallivan saved my life, literally.
