Dr. K did quad CABG on my healthy but older heart. I was flown to Good Samaritan in Kearney NE, with MI. Genetic cardio disease. Most of the nurses and phlebotomists, pre/post op were top of their field. The surgical team, all of them, were truly outstanding. Dr. K made sure to keep my wife informed through the 7 to 8 hr surgery. Every two hours a member of his team would advise her as to progress. Just that act alone showed Dr. K to be compassionate. But along with this kindness is a humble and masterful surgeon with a talented team beyond any we've encountered. Believe me, I've had a number of surgeries! It is with confidence and pleasure that I post this review, as we are the first to encourage anyone who requires heart intervention to see Dr. K. I don't normally post online, but our experience with outstanding care, surgery and compassion throughout the five day process must be shared.
