There are two or three doctor‘s offices that still accept medicaid in Sarasota and this is one of them. Dr. Matsumoto is not obligated to accept it and realistically there’s not a lot of incentive . However, he is one doctor who is ACTUALLY here for you and the health of your baby and he will treat everyone the same regardless of your insurance situation. I was assigned to this office as a high-risk patient for both of my pregnancies and both times I have had wonderful experiences. He is matter-of-fact, intelligent, kind, educated, and truly takes his time to answer your questions and explain everything. If you have the option to choose your office I would highly recommend going here. Never once were they late on bringing me back for my appointment, my calls were always returned the same day, and every doctor and staff member had the same caring attitude. This office should be highly recognized.
