Dr. Shirey is a very sensitive, caring doctor who follows through on her patient's health care. My husband was diagnosed with Catatonic Depression by Dr. Xavier Preud Homme (DUKE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL) after a stroke and TIAs and months of stays at other hospitals with diagnosis of dementia etc. We feel that because of the close attention to details, listening to my husband and having a knowledgeable background with this VERY serious condition, Dr. Shirey helped him finally come home healthy.
