I was introduced to Dr. Smith by a friend who raved about her wonderful experience with him. By the time I booked an initial appointment I had done my research and knew I wanted minimal invasion with no muscle or tendon cutting. The more I learned about the Direct Anterior Approach he uses, the clearer I became that this was the way to go. When I walked in for my pre-op appointment he immediately asked me what questions I had - and then answered all of them. He was patient, clear, and very accessible. I felt totally comfortable with him. The surgery went smoothly and I was home that afternoon. Dr. Smith called me the next day to see how I was doing and gave me a direct number to call or text. Which I used a number of times to text with questions during the first week. He always answered promptly. So I couldn't be more impressed or recommend him more highly. And should my other hip ever need to be replaced I know right where I'll go to get it fixed.
