Dr May is the BEST. I've been going to him for a very long time. When I first started seeing him he was just starting his practice at St Lukes and was not as busy as he is today, however I am happy to wait my turn as he will spend a lot of time with you when you are finally with him. I am a cancer survivor and when i called his office for a referral to a Dr that I would need for my symptoms, he was right on it, I was in the next day, and from there lots of tests and then the oncologists. that was 10 yrs ago!! It angers me when people are complaining about wait times and he's so busy, that is because he's great Dr. I've never had a problem getting anything from him, even if its from his nurse. He has now moved his practice and you can bet I will be at his new office. Also everyone at the St. Lukes internal practice was always friendly and courteous, and anyone who says different is just complaining.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
