Have been a patient of Dr. Barones for about 15 to 20 years. He tells it like it is and never sugar coats it. He's heard all the excuses and can tell a lie when he hears it. He can come off as arrogant and uncaring. Until he sees you really trying and you don't try to B.S him he can't help you. But if he sees you trying and not trying to B.S. him he will do whatever he can to help you. I know because I have been both type of patients, luckily I have thicker skin than most and knew it was my fault and he was just being honest with me.
