Best Internist in the WHOLE STATE of Virginia!!! I left for five years, and moved back to Virginia, but she is so good that she doesn’t have time to see new patients. If doctors are “booked”, it means that they’re good! If they have lots of openings, they’re either awful physicians, or they’re new and trying to establish a practice. Dr. Rakerham was my physician for 12 years, even before they had “hospitalists” and she actually rounded on me while I was in the hospital very ill. I will never forget one day she actually came in on her day off just to see me! There aren’t enough words to describe how much I appreciate her as a healthcare professional.
