Have only been under Dr. Thomas' care for a bit. Although I will be leaving her bc I am moving to be with my family, she was super positive, reassuring, and really made sure I understood the treatment plan. She reminded me of all the things I have going for me, which I believe is important for keeping up hope during this stressful time. She was able to present my path reports and treatment plan in a way that made it less scary, which I will also appreciate. The chemo/oncology nurses she works with are also stellar too. I have heard that she could be a bit harsh but did not personally experience this at all. I recommend entering your appointment with Dr. Thomas with goals of what you want to come out of the appointment, questions, and right off the bat asking her what you have going for you.
