Patient Reviews
Feb 23, 2024
I went to Dr Lamprecht after being misdiagnosed and mistreated after a dislocated shoulder that was out of socket for more than 6 hours causing lots of soft tissue damage. Very painful and I was very stressed out. Dr Derek was such a kind, empathetic listener. He had already reviewed my MRI and nerve conduction study and explained how the length of time the shoulder was dislocated was the reason for the extended damage. He was good at explaining, showing empathy and building trust. I had to wait about a month for the surgery because he was booked out over the holidays. The surgery went even better than I had hoped. It was all done thru the scope, even the biceps reattachment. I felt that his office staff was friendly and professional. His Nurse Practitioner was helpful in both the pre and post of phase. Anytime I left a message she returned the call by the end of the day. One time Dr Lamprecht called himself. I felt confident and supported and know that they are there for me if I need.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
