I had been dealing with a blocked bile duct and stone filled gallbladder for a few weeks. Other surgeons stated they couldn’t fix both due to having had gastric bypass 18 years prior. I ended up in the ER very late one night with extreme pain, which turned out to be caused by pancreatitis that developed due to the blockage. Dr Jones and his team quickly determined the best surgical plan to resolve both the blockage and removal of my gallbladder in a single procedure. He answered all my questions and had a very gentle & patient bedside manner. He continued to advocate for me throughout the day as my surgery was delayed due to scheduling issues but finally managed to get an OR at 11pm. Dr Jones and team checked in on me early the next morning and still had a great bedside manner even though I’m sure he was tired from such a late surgery. I trust Dr Jones immensely as he likely saved my life that night.
