I began seeing Dr. Mortimer a few years ago for severe depression that started when I was a child. After a decades-long journey to seek help for the disease, I had little to show for it. Until I met Dr. Mortimer, the general practitioners I looked to for help prescribed SSRI meds that offered limited relief and left me feeling like I lived in a world where I was never fully engaged in life and living in a barren emotional wasteland. Dr. Mortimer spent considerable time and effort guiding me through trials of various medications in an effort to find one that addressed my symptoms appropriately. Dr. Mortimer was extremely patient, kind and relentless in his pursuit to help me and for the first time in more than 50 years I began to experience life in a fullness I never thought possible. Dr. Mortimer's effort and tenacity have been life-changing and life-saving to me. The effects of his treatment continue to this day and my gratitude to Dr. Mortimer for this is immeasurable.
