Dr. Shero is, how best to put this? ...She is a God Send. Her initial approach was very routine, perhaps seeing me as another task in her day and nothing more. Within a few minutes, she was able to decipher my behavior and at that moment her attitude toward me changed. She went FAR out of her way to ensure that she had my back and that I was protected. Her somewhat stringent and disagreeable demeanor is understandable in her position, yet it fell away and I came across someone who I felt truly cared. I don't have enough good things to say about Dr. Shero. I personally feel she went far above and beyond what I would have expected someone in her position to do, and she did it clearly out of kindness and care. She gave me hope when I thought there was none. I'm not sure if she will read this, but I'm very appreciative of her dedication, education and intelligence. Thank you Doctor.
