I'm 70+ and found myself with double vision (hypertropia) a year or so ago. After asking MANY eye doctors (4 or 5??), I was finally - and thankfully - referred to Dr. Tandon. She is very much in demand, so I had to wait some two months or so to see her. And had to drive 200 miles to her office in Tulsa.But my golly it was worth it! Her assistant initially did a very thorough workup; more so than I've ever witnessed. Then Dr. Tandon arrived with her VERY cheery and welcoming personality. She performed even more tests. And fully understood my symptoms, some of which I thought were odd. But she understood every one of them. And then FINALLY presented a diagnosis that I've been searching for! And of course recommended a couple of paths for treatment; one relatively conservative that requires glasses (which I told her I really don't want), and one that involves a small surgery. She also offered that she doesn't have the equipment for the procedure, and that bigger cities might.
