Dr. Bissoon is more knowledgable about thyroid hormones and hormone replacement therapy than any other doctor I've consulted. He recommends age-old natural remedies that heal the underlying cause of disease, thereby reducing the need for pharmaceuticals. He also tests the blood for markers of several cancers, and, if they are positive, advises on nutritional supplements that can reduce them, as well as the risk of cancer. He is the right doctor for anyone considering going on or coming off bio-identical hormone therapy who has concerns or questions. He also gives good advice regarding breast issues. He is very generous with his time in answering these complicated questions. His receptionist and nurses are wonderful, too!
