I just had cataract surgery at a non typical age of 35 with Dr. Horne. She was very helpful and knowledgeable on what I should expect throughout the process. Due to my age I had more considerations about focal length, how my brain would handle one eye with normal variable focus and one with not (along with the fixed eye being corrected for near sightedness and one remaining the same), etc. I had multiple measurements to ensure the best outcome in regard to the vision correction. I started with a -4.25 and ended up with a practically perfect result. I do not need corrective lenses at all in that eye and its fantastic. This was certainly not guaranteed. While its unfortunate I will never be able to focus up close again in one eye I could not ask for anything better from my experience with Dr. Horne. Every factor under her control was clearly handled well. All the staff involved with all this were very friendly across the board, and that's in three locations including the OR across
