Patient Reviews
Mar 02, 2023
This was my third ophthalmologist to see about cataract surgery. I did not know what to do. The first two wanted me to buy premium lenses for over $8,000. Dr. Lyons discussed the options with me and recommended one toric lens ($1,800 instead of $2,500 at another office) and one regular lens (no additional charge). He didn't even push the toric lens. He said he'd recommend it so that I could avoid glasses for distance and middle range. He alone told me about a slight growth on my right retina. I felt like a person, not a sale. I highly recommend Dr. Lyon.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
