I was told by 3 other neurosurgeons, including a top neurosurgeon at Mayo that I was 'in big trouble' with a 16 cm 'inoperable'cavernous right frontal/temporal meningioma. I knew I wasn't going out like that. I was BLESSED to get in see Dr Sekhar. Just before surgery, he prayed with me and my husband. As I was being wheeled into the OR, my last words to Dr Sekhar were 'Will I ever be a nurse again?' His answer was'I HOPE so.' One year later and I'm still a Registered Nurse. I've been a RN for 26 years. Now I'm just a WAY better one. Thank you Dr Sekhar. Audrey too!!
