Dr Zemis has become my goto surgery expert. I underwent emergency surgery after a ruptured appendix and perforated colon nearly a decade ago-he and his staff pulled me through a very tough challenging period. I later had a couple hernia repairs done by him-as well as an ileostomy reversal-all successful. Since then, I have had to go on dialysis-and he did my port for me, then a fistula-which has worked well. Excellent knowledge and demeanor-I have recommended him many times to close friends
