I thought I had a severe case of tendinitis. After an office visit, X-rays, and an MRI my orthopedist said my condition was more complicated and referred me to Dr. Shank. I had a consultation with Miyoko and Dr. Shank we agreed on a plan of action to address all the problems. For best results and safest outcomes we decided on two surgeries two weeks apart. When my consultation appointment was finished, I was confident I would be in great hands (both literally and figuratively) and my orthopedist had sent me to the best possible doctors. This event has truly been a team effort. Everyone I have dealt with at OCC has been kind, considerate, patient, and supportive. Most importantly to me was that my input was valued and I was heard.
