I came to dr. Primeggia with a 15-yr complicated problem, for which 5 ENTs, 3 allergists, and 3 dermatologists did not find an answer. Only the 4th allergist (Dr. Mackie in Vienna VA) and the 4th dermatologist (Dr. Masri-Fridling also of Vienna) who repeatedly conferred with each other about my case (non-billable hours!), came up with some answers specific to their respective fields and recommended that I also see an infectious specialist. On my first visit I was very impressed with Dr. Primeggia: her office is well organized with personable staff; she listens very carefully and takes time to obtain a detailed history; she explained her thinking about what might be causing my problems; in a detailed way she outlined her plan of tests to arrive at a diagnosis; and mentioned several potential treatments/solutions. Her notes from my visit are the most thorough and accurate I have ever seen. I feel very lucky that I have the three doctors mentioned in this evaluation.
