Patient Reviews
Oct 28, 2023
The best liver surgeon in the world and if you live near Tampa, FL needing a top liver surgeon, your also very lucky. I was quite shocked to hear I had three congenital birth defects in my liver at age 60. Very few liver surgeons knew how to keep the defects from returning...which was key to my search for "the best." Iswanto Sucandy possesses the ability to perform liver techniques that leave the patient in a permanently positive situation. I cannot thank him enough. He performed my robotic surgery October 19th, also removing my "mush" of a gall bladder, and was able to attract a Chief surgeon from Moffitt as well to address GYN surgery in the same setting! So I had a total remodel. Post surgery, very few low profile incisions, so, I can hardly tell. I feel "new" again. These defect had been taking a toll for years of visits to clueless Doctors. I'm very blessed Iswanto Sucandy was only an hour from me in Tampa, FL, working out of Advent Hospital. Advent is a wonderful state of the art "Christ based" hospital. So I used the USF Campus Marriott a LOT to just drive up night before various appointments. THANK YOU ISWANTO!!!
