Dr Burns is friendly but not in a phony, salesman way. He is professional and business-like but also collaborative and not at all authoritarian. He genuinely wants you to see as well as you possibly can, but after explaining the options in careful detail (complete with videos), the choice remains yours. He is willing to give you complete information about your eyes and takes the time to answer questions without seeming resentful (see below re my former doc). The staff is skilled and efficient (Front line office staff could be more welcoming and helpful, however; they feel a little abrupt.) The clinical staff seem to enjoy their work and the practice feels comfortable and trustworthy. After leaving another "top doc" who explained nothing, didn't listen and rushed the appointment, this practice feels like a huge relief. It is also very up-to-date with current but proven procedures and new machines and tools. I leave feeling confident and optimistic.
