I wish every doctor I had was like Dr. Santos. At the consult it was easy to see why my PCP was downright thrilled that I'd been assigned to him. Truly, if more doctors were like him there would be a lot less fear in patients. I have never had a doctor not only be so thorough, but be almost relentless in asking me over and over at the end of the visit with the most kindness imaginable, "Are you sure you don't have any questions? Any questions at all? If you should think of anything please, please send me a message. Are you sure nothing has come to mind?" He is the most lovely man who takes his time and explains things very easily. Better yet, he shows you the computer screen during your entire visit so that nothing is a mystery to you. You see exactly what he sees. As he figures out percentages or checks your history, you're able to watch and be an active participant. How many doctors do that? It took seeing six other specialists before ending up with Dr. Santos but it was worth it.
