What is preventive care?
You know that saying, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”? It’s true. Nothing beats staying in control of your health. In fact, the best time to see your doctor is when nothing hurts. Health impacts your entire life, including your ability to earn a living, care for your family and interact with friends. That’s why your preventive care is so important.
What care is right for me?
The type of preventive care you need (and how often you need it) is unique. It depends on your age, gender, health and family history. After you take your RealAge® Test, your Sharecare profile will remind you when to complete certain screenings based on your age and health.
What will I pay?
Preventive care is 100% covered as long as its provided through an in-network provider and is coded as preventive care. Incentives
When you complete your preventive exams from Jan. 1, 2024, through Nov. 30, 2024, you can earn incentives! Complete your annual physical or well woman exam to earn $25. Then, complete select preventive screenings to earn an additional $25 per screening.
Note: Any preventive exams completed in December 2023, will count towards the 2024 incentive program.
