What is preventive care?
Seeing your doctor before you feel sick is one of the best ways to stay healthy. Preventive care helps you catch problems early and keep your body strong.
What care is right for me?
The preventive care you need depends on various factors including:
- Age
- Gender
- Health history
- Family history
After you take your RealAge Test, your Sharecare profile will remind you when it’s time for recommended preventive care.
What will I pay?
Preventive care is 100% covered if you go to a doctor in your health plan’s network and the visit is coded as preventive.
If you’re not sure, call the number on the back of your member ID card or visit your health plan’s website.
Earn incentives for taking care of yourself
When you complete preventive care from Jan. 1 – Nov. 30, 2026, you can earn incentives! Complete your annual physical or well woman exam to earn $25. Then, complete select preventive screenings to earn an additional $25 per screening.
Note: Any preventive care completed in Dec. 2025, will count towards the 2026 incentive program
