How likely are you to recommend Dr. Wallach?
When I first went to see Dr. Wallach I was suffering from sciatic pain. Following a series of X-rays, CT scans and an MRI, Dr. Wallach said that ultimately the solution would be surgery. I was not keen on back surgery so he said we could try Physical Therapy and Epidural treatments, which we did. The first epidural didn’t do much, but we tried that again and it worked, for about three months. But as the epidural began to lose its effectiveness, the pain came back but worse than before.I sat down with Dr. Wallach and said that I was ready for the back surgery. The sciatic pain now radiated down across my hips and down my right leg. I was having trouble standing for any length of time, trouble walking, and severe loss of balance due to the pain. He offered his opinion as to the extent of the surgery. But, he also suggested that I get a second opinion, which I did. The second surgeon also suggested a third. It seems that my back was a mess.
