Doing kegel exercises throughout your pregnancy will help strengthen the same muscles you use to push out your baby, says nurse midwife Paula Greer. To learn more about why kegels are good to do during and after pregnancy, watch this video.
When you do the Kegel exercise you are utilising the same muscles that you use when you urinate and taking that muscle up the elevator and down the the elevator actually helps with strengthening the muscles that you need to push your baby out during the delivery. Unfortunately in this many women don't squat, many women don't do anything to develop that muscle and it's really important during the birth process and for turning up the virgina after the baby is born and resuming intercourse in a healthy sexual relationship, so kegels during pregnancy and especially after this pregnancy can help this mom have a much happier.
