How Is Endometrial Cancer Treated?

Well, the good news about Endometrial cancer in the majority of women, between 70 and 80% of women it is found at in its earliest stage, which means it's at its most curable stage. And in those cases, we're generally able to treat it surgically by doing a hysterectomy and for the majority of women especially if they are in stage one, that's going to cure them.

And in fact over 90% of women will have a five year survival of a stage 1 cancer. A more advanced uterine cancer sometimes requires other treatments, either radiation or chemotherapy depending on the type of cancer it is and how advanced it is, but this is a cancer that is very treatable.
