So theanine is a wonderful supplement. It's an amino acid which is the building block of protein, it's found naturally in green and black tea, it's hence British tea time to kind of relax yourself and decrease stress, and that's exactly what theanine does. It's an anti anxiety, it promotes mental relaxation, it drops those cortisol levels down and really helps you to feel much more balanced. It will increase things like serotonin dopplermeaning gabber[sp?] which again remember your feel good neuro-transmitters, so that when you feel frazzled, then you feel like you've had about 40 cups of coffee, because you're running around doing whatever it is that's going on at the time, theanine can step in and take that noise down and calm some of that excess energy down.
