What Increases My Risk for Chronic Pain?

Read Transcript

The primary thing that increases risk for chronic pain is allowing connective tissue to stay in a chronic state of dehydration. When you sit for long periods of time, think of the connected tissue like a spongy, if you compress it or you compress it or you pull on it for long periods of time it pulls the fluids out of the system, so we want to learn how to do things that create the fluid exchange in our sponge so that we move efficiently and we've got the caution and the shock absorption so that we can live a more active, healthy pain free life.
