We do see that a lot of times women in their menopausal period are experiencing more depression. There is a drop in the estrogen level, so the hormones can be one aspect of it, but also I find that a lot of women look back at their life and there were certain regrets, whether it be with their marriage, you know and with their spouses, whether it be with their careers, should, could, would have.

If I didn't have guess I would have done this, if I did have kids, maybe I could have done that. So I think it's a combination of life changing, aging, realizing that our bodies are not the same, we don't have the same level of vibrance and use and all the energy that we used to, but there definitely is a strong biological component, and hormonal component in menopause and depression..
