Certain pre-existing conditions can be exacerbated by a chiropractic adjustment, so it's important to tell
your doctor about your medical history. Certain things, like rheumatoid arthritis, those patients would probably get

A detailed medical history is important because we need to understand what's going on with their history and their family history. If they have a family history of connective tissue disorders,
if they have a family history of stroke, or aneurysm or any underlying cardiovascular risks. Also, we need to know what medications they're on.
Also, imaging is important, so we need to know what their spine looks like before we adjust. And we need to also understand what
have they done before coming into the office medication wise. Certain pre-existing conditions can
be exacerbated by a chiropractic adjustment, so it's important to tell your doctor about your medical history.
