HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, and that's why we use the abbreviation HCG, It's commonly known as a fertility drug and it's a hormone booster, so in very large amounts it is meant to boost hormones to help women conceive. However very low amount of this hormones booster is just acting enough to contrast muscle breakdown during a diet plan, so that is why we use HCG and that is what it is.
