How Does Metabolism Influence Weight Loss?

A lot of us think that we gain weight, because we have a slow metabolism and that's partly true but not a lot true. The metabolism that we have is the one we're born with. You can't really change your basal metabolic rate. As we get older however, it tends to slow down. So unfortunately as we get older we need to eat less, what you can do to help balance that is to exercise a little more, eat healthier foods, because you can eat more of them, you can eat a whole plate full of vegetables, you throw in beans, you can throw in tofu, you can throw in a lean protein, you can even throw an olive oil, things that taste good, but you can do that without that weight gain that comes along with things like menopause which just has to go through for a lot of us.
