What Do Low-Fat and Fat-Free Food Labels Mean?

Technically a low fat label means that the food should contain no more than three grams of fat per serving, a fat free label means that the food should contain not more than 0.5 grams of fat per serving for half a gram that said when you see low fat label it doesn't mean that you should precede with reckless abandon throw caution to the wind and proceed with reckless abandon, it doesn't give you in other words, a green light to eat as much as you want.

However, in a context of a healthy diet there are low fat foods that make good sense, that make good choices. Those are low fat diary for example, yogurt, cheese, low fat milk those are all great parts of a great part of a healthy diet.
