So many people toss out the yolk in favor of the egg white. Nutritionist Dr. Rovenia Brock reveals in this video why this is a major mistake.
Eggs, let me just say this, that the center of nutrition of eggs is found in the yolk. The yolk is the nutrition center of eggs. So forget about the egg whites, and having egg white omelettes, you want the whole egg because you're missing out on all the nutrition. There's enough, there's so many nutrients found in the yolk of the egg, that some scientists argue having a egg a couple times a day might actually be a better insurance policy for a good diet or a healthy lifestyle than a daily multi-vitamins.
So I cannot say enough about the nutritional benefits and health benefits of eggs from good eye health to bone building calcium and iron and carotenoids and vitamins, fat soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K. I'm just saying, you cannot, if there were a perfect food it may perhaps be the egg yolk.
