People with Diabetes need healthy muscles to be able to keep their blood sugars in check. If the body is strong, aerobic exercise is very good for diabetes because it increases circulation and the muscles get better oxygenation and the exercise is more effective. However, if the body is not rich in muscle, the best kind of exercise for diabetes, is what is called resistance training, to be able to build stronger, bigger muscles.
