Social support is key to achieving weight loss. The key is getting people on your team that support you, because if you have people around you that understand what you are experiencing that are sharing that experience, it really helps have a place of empathy, to have people who encourage you and a place you can always go to share ideas and really cry on someone's shoulder if you need to from time to time, these can be folks you exercise with and do things other than it.

While social support can get tricky it sometimes to people and your social world are exactly the people who taught you to eat that bad way. It's time to sort of learn who the healthy players are in your world, and those who aren't, doesn't mean you have to lose anyone, it means you have to learn who to eat with and how to eat with them, and integrate them all into a healthier weight and exercise lifestyle.
