Watch as Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist Dr. Pina LoGiudice suggests how a lactose intolerent person can get calcium in their diet without having to rely on dairy.
There's a common misconception that if someone is dairy free or has a sensitivity to cow's milk also known as the proteins lactose that there's no way to get calcium and that's actually not true, the earth has provided so many wonderful nutrients for someone to get calcium, if they are not ingesting cow product.
One of the biggest and most dense forms of calcium is actually sardine, so now granted not everybody loves sardine but it's actually quite abundant in calcium, so if you're not a sardine lover then other choices are almonds a very high any dark leafy green vegetables very high in calcium, so again there's a wonderful array of other foods and vegetables again any other animal protein, chicken all of those sources also contain calcium so you can absolutely be sensitive to lactose and still get an abundant source of calcium.
