You do not need to count calories in the Paleo diet and that doesn't mean you should go eat 10 pounds of steak in one sitting. What it means is if you follow the paleo diet properly you're eating a nice balance of small meals throughout the day all of which have some vegetables, some protein and some fat.

Your energy levels are through the roof, your metabolism is skyrocketing and you have a very good, even blood sugar so you're not having those blood sugar crashes which would set you up to choose the wrong foods.
