Passion flower may sound sexy, but its effect on your health is entirely wholesome. In this video, psychotherapist Mike Dow explains how it can help if you have sleep problems.
Passion flower is known as nature's best tranquilizer, so what it does, it does a couple of things it release anxiety in the brain, but it also relaxes all of your muscles, so it's a really fantastic thing to take if you're the kind of person who has trouble staying asleep. Passion flower can be taken in many different ways.
I recommend getting the passionflower powder because it's very versatile. You can mix one-half to one teaspoon of the powder into things like pudding or milk. You can take one teaspoon one hour before bedtime and make it as a tea, you'll steep it for 10 minutes drain and then drink, you can also put a little of the powder in your bedtime, it's very affordable you can get about a pound of it for $10 and that will give you about 100 servings.
