How Can I Reduce My Carb Cravings?

Week, that's right Ricky and go to the first week of the plan. Welcome Ricky, how are you? Hello. All right, so week one to kick the carb habit. [UNKNOWN] is not about that not about taking away any carbohydrate, as a matter of fact, I don't want you taking any any carbs whatsoever.

I want you adding foods that will curb your carb cravings. So [UNKNOWN] why is this so important to add rather than take away in the first week. Whenever we treat any addiction it is so much more about what you're adding to your life rather than what you're taking away. So let's take a look at some really great healthy ways to get serotonin in your brain.

Instead of focusing on everything you're taking away, that white bread, that white rice, I would add things like whole grain pasta, brown rice, quinoa, steel-cut oatmeal, these provide a sustainable release of serotonin in the brain but they also have what we call high satiety value.

Which mean they keep you fuller longer so then you don't want to eat a couple hours later. Fruit, because they also give you that sustainable serotonin, the skins have fiber which promotes the the satiety value keeping you fuller. Sounds great.
