Hi, Dr. Clark here with three ways that you can boost your longevity. Stay in shape. Fit people in there 50s are twice as likely as unfit friends to celebrate their 85th birthday. New to exercise, here's the good news for you. You don't have to work out like an iron man to get fit enough to live longer.

Try these three step plan. First walk for 30 minutes everyday, or walk three times a day for just 10 minutes, but aim for consistency so it becomes a habit. Next, break a sweat. Add something that gets your heart rate up for a total of at least one hour a week. Take an exercise class, bike, hike up a hill, go to the gym, finally, build strength.
