When you don't eat enough fat your body is switched into fat storage into hunger and a slow metabolism mode. So you want to eat fat which actually does exactly the opposite of what we think. Despite of what we think eating the fat in your diet doesn't put fat on your body it's the opposite, it speeds up your metabolism.

It switches you from the hunger hormones to the feel full hormones, and it actually causes you to burn fat not to store fat. Healthy fats are nuts and seeds like almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chea seeds, sesame seeds and omega 3 fats as well as things like olive oil and avocados and coconut.

All these are healthy plant based fats except the omega 3. It's to help your body to speed up your metabolism.
